UTP data cable and Telephony

UTP type cables is one of the most widely used types of data cables in the world, due to its affordable cost and ease of installation. It is a twisted pair cable, and does not have additional screening beyond the PVC jacket. They have an impedance of 100 Ohms which is the most used type of twisted pair cable due to its more than affordable cost and easy installation. They do not have additional shielding to the PVC cover that covers the cables, and it has an impedance of 100 Ohms. The most commonly used connectors with this cable are the RJ45, and the RJ11, used in telephony.
